You have created edgy, engaging characters who are easy to care about, and the stories' Southern Gothic atmosphere is a delight. Your work also raises some pretty heavy issues, including the whole good vs. evil struggle, temptation, and what impact our choices have on us and the people we love...all things we should probably think about more than we (or at least I) do. I literally started bouncing in my chair when I saw the new series would be out in January!
I'm anxious to read more about Sammy, as he's become one of my favorite characters - the bad boy, who while tempting a woman he can't seem to avoid, ends up doing good deeds along the way, much to his consternation. I look forward to diving into your new series!

I've read all of the books so far and loved them! For some reason in my mind when I think of Joe I picture Patrick Dempsey! Must be the whole doctor thing!
At times Nicki seems a bit full of herself, but at least she's a confident girl! The character of Evan is fabulous! Can't wait for the next book!
